How are we different?
Caged Creation was an idea to help fill the gaps in the prison art market. The incarcerated face a lot of problems selling art. The business premise is to mitigate common issues, specifically, the sold-to-paid time frame.
Other prison art sites are commission based with large fees associated with them, (almost 40% for some!). What does this mean?
- Waiting for art to sell to get paid.
- Only getting a portion of the proceeds.
Caged Creation is different. I buy high quality prison art and pay the artist up front.
